Question about coil pack failure....

started the car the other day..
check engine light flashing..
engine vibrating harshly..
drove 3 blocks down hill to my
house, seemed had now power..

n/e way, I had a set of old but good
coil packs. the harsh engine vibration
went away, but the check engine light
is know on constantly..haven't had a chance
to drive the car..but power seems to be back
to normal..

my question is, does the engine light have
to be reset at the dealer??, It seems e/thing
else is ok for know...

please advice..

So is the light flashing?

If it is solid then you can drive the car

yes.. engine light has to be reset.. if its not flashing that is..

if its flashy.. dont drive the car.

the light was flashing before
after I changed the coi packs its now on solid...
