Pull the fuse for the radio and reinsert it. (more)
Some dealers were replacing radios that do this, but in the meantime, I suggest pulling the fuse and reinserting it to fix the problem (and stop battery drain). The radio will come back on fine.

I had this problem last night - radio would not work but all red even with car turned off
I pulled the fuse - looked OK - put it back in and radio worked fine - did not require security code input.
This happened to me 12 months ago & dealer did the same thing, But dealer had to enter the security code to get the radio operational again.
