Default Read if you are having warranty problems

I am having some warranty issues with the fiance's a4. Brake rotors are warped and Audi will not cover it. I contact AOA and managed to get the VP of Audi North America's name and mailing address. Here it is for those that want it.

Default If it does not specifically state....

that warped rotors are covered then you have no case. BTW how do you warp you rotors that much? Why can they just turn them true?

Default Actually not correct.

If it's under warranty and the warping is not a typical result of normal wear and tear and there is no evidence of the owner warping them by some abnormal action then they are covered...

UNLESS...

AUDI specifically excluded warping as a warrantable fault in the original warranty.

Every possible fault does not have to be listed for it to be covered - It's not as if the warranty manual mentions coil pack failure or oil sludge is it?

Tires will cause that too.

Default Re: Actually not correct.

i had my front rotors replaced under warranty at 20,000 miles. but audi would not replace the pads because the pads had a lot of thickness to them, so they put them back on.
