Default rear heated seats not working?

anyone ever had this problem?

i haven't really had any time to diagnose it, but it doesn't look like they're working in my 02. i put them both on 6 for awhile, and it did't feel like they heated up at all. i'm not sure if its some sort of wiring going to the seats(where is it, under the seats?), or the switches themselves.

are the rear heated seat switches and that door lock button supposed to light up when the headlights are on?

Default Not rear seats, but my front driver seat wasn't working this year. They had to replace an element

Still under warranty, thankfully.

Default iirc, rear heated seats work only when some1 is sitting in them...

Have you actually sat in the back to see if they work?

Default ah...no i have not, though that was going to be something that i tested today

even though i considered it as a possibility, i just didn't think that there would be a pressure switch or anything.

i will investigate today.

either way, should the rear heated seat switches and the door lock button illuminate when the headlights are on?

Yes, those switches should light up.

Default doh....if they're not lighting up, i wonder what the problem could be...

maybe a harness is disconnected or something...or a fuse?
