Removal of stickers

Removal of stickers
Did you guys remove warning stickers from "sunshades" or whatever you call this.
This thing just above the driver and passanger, stickers saying about AirBags and Child Safty.
What is the best solution to use to clean it ?

Mine just pulled off. Nothing was left behind to clean off
After I came back from a drive (car interior was then at 68 degrees). I just SLOWLY pulled the stickers off. One post mentioned that they saved one of the stickers and put it on the glove box door(inside of course). Seemed to be a good idea but I had already disposed of mine. A word of caution would be if the sticker is not coming off easily, stop before you tear the vinyl.

mine won't come off to save my life...
almost like their painted on!
i'm gonna try soaking 'em in goo gone this weekend though. that, plus tweezers plus a heat gun should hopefully get 'em off.
why do they need 2 stickers on every visor??!!??

Did you talk real nice to them b4 you pulled?
No seriously, good for you. I have not tried yet, it looks like a real pain. One thought was to try and steam them off.....(Blowdryer maybe...)
Those stickers are extremely annoying. I can live with ones that are on the mirror side. But the ones that can always be seen must go!

My A4 was made in August of 2001.. Audi may have changed adhesives later in the prod cycle
Audi may have gotten flack from our safety zelots and had to go to a different adhesive. Too bad if this is true. As I stated mine came of with no problem...
