Replaced fan relay 219 but problem not fixed
Hi all,
been reading a few threads about the audi a4 b6 fans continually running after the ignition has been switched off and keys removed. I had ordered a new Audi 219 relay and in the interim i had been disconnecting my car battery to prevent it from going flat.
Yesterday, I installed the new 219 relay but unfortunately this did not resolve the issue (fans are still running after car turned off)... I did confirm the 219 relay is the fault as I removed this relay from the ECU compartment and the fans stopped running when the car was turned off..
On removal of the old 219 relay I did not see any corrosion as many of you have noted. Is there any other tips you may have to troubleshoot this issue? maybe the socket itself that the relay plugs into?
any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Is there anything else
