seems simple enough to take out the bolt holding the chip in but you might want to check with the

The APR website has a good DIY explanation and pics for removing the ECU cover. After the ECU cover
is off, you pull the Wett Chip out of its socket (the socket is solderd to the board, not the chip) and plug in the OEM.
