Would you see what happens with your parking lights when you leave the car with the turn signal lever in either left or right position? Earlier posts on here have said that it should turn on left-only or right-only parking lights depending on position of lever. My owners manual says that this is how it should be. On my '04 it doesn't matter if it is left or right, both sides are illuminated. I wonder if they changed this for some reason on the '04?

here want the more "Euro" feel of turning only one side or the other on so they change it using a tool like VAG-COM. It's just a matter of reseting some data in the "body" computer.
