Reseting the Service interval?
I just came back from the dealership. Did oil change and coolant check. Anyways, when i was back at home, i found out that when i press the wrench button or service, it said Service ---, Miles ---. It used to say 160days to service, 4000miles to service. Somehow I took a peak in the manual, it said you can rest it or something. Turn off my ignition press the service button, then switch it on then press the 0 0 button. Nothing happened...anybody chime in and help meee? =P

Oh yeah. How do you reset the "Service!" display?
I had my 10k service done at 9800 and my light came on at 10k. I need to reset it. Is there an easy manual way? or is it a vag thing, if so whats the procedure?
sorry about the threadjack, I don't know what exactly your issue is, but maybe it will be the same answer.?

you either have to do it right after you do your service, or adjust it with a VAG-COM.
I've changed the service intervals on the B5s before, but I haven't done it on the B6 yet.
IIRC, after you reset it, you have to drive 15-50 miles before it recalculates properly.
