Default Reseting the Service interval?

I just came back from the dealership. Did oil change and coolant check. Anyways, when i was back at home, i found out that when i press the wrench button or service, it said Service ---, Miles ---. It used to say 160days to service, 4000miles to service. Somehow I took a peak in the manual, it said you can rest it or something. Turn off my ignition press the service button, then switch it on then press the 0 0 button. Nothing happened...anybody chime in and help meee? =P

thks

Default Oh yeah. How do you reset the "Service!" display?

I had my 10k service done at 9800 and my light came on at 10k. I need to reset it. Is there an easy manual way? or is it a vag thing, if so whats the procedure?

sorry about the threadjack, I don't know what exactly your issue is, but maybe it will be the same answer.?

Default you either have to do it right after you do your service, or adjust it with a VAG-COM.

I've changed the service intervals on the B5s before, but I haven't done it on the B6 yet.

IIRC, after you reset it, you have to drive 15-50 miles before it recalculates properly.

Default After it is reset, it takes about 500 miles before it recalculates time to next service

STFA, this has been discussed before.
