Rock Chips.....

Rock Chips.....
I drive 50 miles each day round trip to work. 90% of that drive is on the freeway. Over the last 3 months I have picked up 3 rock chips. Two are on the hood and the latest in on the upper rear quarter pannel. Any suggestions? Does touch up paint really look clean after applied. Anyone feel my pain?

I have 3 rock chips as well.. And my front bumper looks like its been sandblasted.
I've learned to just deal with it. 
. You *could* repaint those damaged areas and put clearbra. But I think its all part of the joys of ownership. I've got the touchup paint in hand... but I've not dared to try it... I've heard many horror stories regarding touchup paint.

In retrospect - Stongard
I put Stongard on after the first week and have noticed a number of rocks hit the car, but none have touched the paint. Its good protection for the cost.
As for touch up paint, have a detail shop put it on for you. A local shop should have someone that can do a good job at it and who knows a few tricks.

Same here.I put Car Bra on during work week until I can afford to repaint front & get Clear Bra

Someone once recommended using a Sharpie
I actually tried it a few days ago on brilliant black- it doesn't bring the level flush, but it gets rid of the sandblasted look (small white specks) from a a short distance. Definitely makes it look better.
