Default Rust color fluid from wheels???

I have had my new 1.8t with sport package for about 2 weeks, and today it got it's first bath. After the wash, I took her out for a spin. Well, when I got to my destination, I noticed a rust color fluid leaking from that little plug in the middle of my wheels (all 4). WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?? anyone else with the same problem??

Brake dust can be brownish. Rotors/hats themselves can get a rusty film when washed.

Default That happens on all cars, I think.....

After I got my Audi, my Nissan (300ZX) was sitting in driveway. After it rained and I went to move car, there was brown/rust color all over the brake disc.

Default not rotor ....

Yes, the rotor will get a rust colored film on it when not in use; however, this is FLUID that leaks out from the center of my wheel (around that little plug with the audi emblom on it), and it spatters all over my wheel when I drive.

Default wheel rotors rust on water contact...

the part of the rotor that makes contact with the brake pads (flat, plate-like surface)will instantly oxidize/rust when water makes contact with it. A superficial thin film of orange rust will instantly come off with contact with the brake pads as soon as the brakes are applied again. Not to worry, totally normal.

Default I've had a similar problem

I had a jeep in the past that had shocks that leaked from the seals. When the piston would compress the fluid would squirt out. It got on the exhaust (stinky) and it also got on the wheels where it would run down the face of the rim. The fluid was thin, varied in color from yellow to rusty orange, and was a little oily.
Maybe this is the problem?

Some other guy here is smelling a burned oil smell when he brakes hard. I think he could be smelling the byproduct of this same problem.
