My buds I and I were rolling up route 20 in Paterson on our way back to my house from E-Town import/euro show today... when we came across a group of folks pulled over and gathered at the gaurd rail along a fast curve.

Route 20 is a short highway that belts around the eastern edge of Paterson, along the Passaic River.

We stopped, and can see a bike on its side with a pool of fluid arounf it, and it seemed like a bunch of folks just standing there, looking down below... but no one jumping over the guardrail, going down the embankment.

As soon as I swung my door open, a few people I believe were possibly medics finally went down to the victim.

From what I could see, the bike must have somehow hit the guardrail, throwing the rider into the trees. Either he lost it on the curve, on sand, hit by a car... I have no idea.

When I looked over the guardrail, I could see the guy down on the river bank, and conscious. He was thrown into trees a least 50 feet. Two people were already down there helping, and police sirens were within earshot... So we rolled... Hopefully he is OK.

Scary stuff... be careful out there folks.
