Is APR's Engine Snub Mount what I need? Is the snub mount part of the Short Shift install? Sorry for the repost but just want to get the install right the first time...

they are 2 different parts. i have both on my 3.0. the short shift is nice, but add the snub mount... very nice! one warning on the snub mount install on the 3.0. there isn't really much room. when the shop (group5 motorsport in san diego) was doing my install, they called neuspeed, and neuspeed said it was impossible, and then they called apr, and apr said it couldn't be done, even although the sold the part. but the shop got it in, with a little work, and its definitely worth it.

What did they have to do to get the snub mount installed?

Both APR's and Neuspeed's snub mounts are recommended only for the 1.8
