Yesterday i was driving on the 10freeway to usc and all of the sudden my car threw the cel and epc light at the same time once, then cut throttle(i believe) the rpms died to 1000 and popped into neutral for a second, then the same lights blinked once at the same time again and rmps and throttle went back to normal. This started happening at first once every 2 minutes, and rapidly sped up to about once every 10 seconds, and then the last time it did it the esp indicator went on and then the car died. I pulled onto the shoulder and restarted the car, as it would normally, and drove for another 1/4 and then it would bug out again. I parked the car at a friends house and when we went back outside after we thought the engine would have cooled off, the fan was running. Then we tried to drive it to my apt. and it immediately did the cutting throttle deal until it died in about a total of 2 minutes. We tried one last time, (mostly because we needed to get back to his place) and it stalled about 5 times in 2 minutes. Called AAA and had it towed to the dealer. Has anyone had this happen to them, or something similar? I have GIAC flashware, not to keep people from purchasing it, but if it turns out to be the software, i say proceed with caution because this may turn out to be a very costly ordeal. Any comments, questions, any help is mmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuchhhhhhhhh appreciated.
