Default I think they should have extended rear a little longer. Maybe even 4 door GTI.

But good luck with your next purchase and don't stray too far from the forum when you do get something other than an Audi.

Default Thanks, I won't disappear...

well they have the 4 door Rabbit, but I think it looks funny with the sort of short wheel base. I definitely prefer 2 doors for this size car.

Default Its a nice car, I think you should go for it. It'll be a fun car to toss around....

chip it and you're good =D Then it'll be spin city ;-)

But for the money, its a good choice, good looks and drives well. In the end, it should be what YOU want, what we think doesn't matter. As long as you like it, what it has to offer, likes how it drives, etc.

The VW iPod integration should be like Audi's I believe...just a cable that is in the glove box and you hook up the iPod to, like iceLink. Then you can control it via the head unit and is hidden from sight.

Default That would be my next car! I think the new GTI looks great (nicer in the flesh)

and those 18" rims look much nicer, IMO, when I actually saw them on the car.

I really think you won't regret your choice! Check out teh comments on VWVortex.com if you haven't already.

Good luck to you!

Rich

Default Re: A4 drivers think? Consider -

I think you need to stay with an A4 or at minimum an A3.

Golf body style is nice but pretty ho-hum to me. Have you considered an A3? Yes there more $ but they are sweet, look far better, IMO than the Golf.

Consider: I swore off VW after dealing with their Dealer and Service. Dreaded taking (Last car) Jetta in for oil changes what a Zoo, what a Nightmare. - My Audi dealer is a dream compared to VW. That alone is worth the premium price to me.

Plus: A3/A4 you get to keep your Mirror Caps.

Quick Reply: So what do my fellow A4 drivers think? *EDIT - updated initial mods*
