Software question
I have an 02 1.8t that has a similar set up as Neuspeeds super K04. The main difference is I have a much more aggressvie turbo then Neuspeeds super K04, (but it's not a T-28).
Software I am using is APR's stage 1+. I checked with APR, GIAC and Neuspeed. They all agreed that car would perform better as software is setup for stk K03- I asked Neuspeed if I could buy their software- No was my answer.
GIAC didn't have anything and APR has the V-tune that can be used with VAG to set paramters of timing, boost, ignition, etc. Without a lot of guessing to where things should be set, anyone have any ideas on how to do this or get a closer match for my cars set up? Thanks!

I used existing sport K03 shell and had machined. Shop that did work called Borg Warner and asked what they were doing with Neuspeeds super K04- He said he could be much more aggressive then super K04- Using a 42mm compressor upgrade and a 10 degree turbine clip.
I also had him install a new bearing, (machined 5mm) too. He said this is as large as he could go with this, (or a K04) turbo.
Really flows a lot of air and works very well- He also said it could handle a presure ratio of 2.5, (2=1 bar). I think this is around 24-25 pounds of boost. With software, I spike at 17-18 and fall back to 15.
Costs for entire machining, bearing, tipping, etc. is around $825. Bolts back the same and looks the same, (from the outside).

David answered all my questions and the software they have is used for the E05 turbo, (which he said is similar to the turbo I have).
I will send my ECU to them and have this done.
