My dad is looking at getting rid of his X5 and looking at either the Range Rover or the G500. The LR3 lacks some stuff he wants and the Range Rover sport is unattractive to him (I think it looks sweet). He is also considering the G500. We are going to buy a car this weekend. I have driven the G500 and I like it. It's a little odd looking, but in a good way. Great ride. Some things I experienced I didn't really like were that you really have to slam the doors to get them to close. The passenger compartment feels a little tight in the front and the gas pedal has too much resistance. I haven't driven the Range Rover, but my dad has and he thought the engine made too much noise.
