Speedometer off ?

Is my speedometer now off since I got rims ?
Just wanted to be safe.

My rims are 18 x 8
tires are 235/40

will that cause the speedo to be off coming from the stock 16s ?

I don't think it'll matter much, but you should ask the guy who sold the wheels to you

if the overall size is the same then your fine, and thats the beauty of plus sizing. your good

Not a chance, I have 19" wheels and have no speedo difference.
