Speedometer vs. Average MPH question
If I am driving at 70mph on the speedo then I check the computer and reset it to show my average mph I see that it says about 67mph. The computer always is about 3mph slower than the speedo? Which one is more accurate and why does this happen?

German law requires speedos to always read the actual speed or higher, regardless of wheel/tire (m)
size, so they tend to be a bit optimistic to ensure that they never under-represent the speed of the car.

mine shows 3mph fast too... also a way for Audi ....
1.to show better gas mileage than actual
2. to put more miles on car than actual to get out of warrenty.
