Default Sports Package ?
Is there a significant difference in the handling and ride of the sports package? Also, is the lowered ride height something that you can tell just by looking at it?

Default yes, you can tell just by looking at it, and yes there is a difference...
in handling. How significant it is to YOU would be best answered by YOU going out and test driving both.

Very good option for mtn driving..
I have sport, and the non-sport version feels soft and sloppy.
People here bought non-sport and regretted it later.
