Default Sub Install
How hard is to replace my stock bose sub with an after market 12in? I want to keep it in the same location. I really need my trunk space. Thanks.

Default Not possible !
To cut away at your package shelf would serisousily comprimise the strucural integrity of the car first off. Second "Free-air" subs are awful ! Subs without enclosures are weak, sloppy and cannt be tuned.

Try the audio forum for more info, email me directly and read up on subs.

Default The shop I went to said they could mount it there and
put the car back to factory. I'm just wondering what they would do and how.

Well its tough to put a 12" woofer in a 7" hole !

Thought it was an 8in? I'm going to try and do it my self. Maybe put it in the cubby on the left.
