Swapping S4 brakes to A4, is it possible?
Can you swap B6 S4 brakes to a B6 A4 Ultrasport Avant? The car came with 18 inch rims. If this can be done, is it a worthwhile swap. There must be some used parts out there with people swapping to big brake kits for the S4.

Yes you can. You need the calipers, carriers, and rotors (lines and pads of course)...
yeah, it's a heck of an upgrade. no drop in weight of course but they are a beefy setup that'll stop an A4 very well again and again.

yeah im doing the B7 A4 to B6 A4 (320mm instead of 345mm)
don't forget SS brake lines, and you might damage the ABS sensors taking them out so have a dealer ready when you do them if you screw the pooch.
while you have the wheels off throw 10mm spacers on for even more extra weight but a much nicer offset if you run the stocker rims.
