Symphony Help !!

Guys do you know if speakers in our cars are amplified or not ??
I am trying to add and EQULIZER (EQ) to work with Symphony II and I was told the only way to do that is to spend 1500$ and replace everting in the vehicle including speakers...
Any suggestions

I don't think the speakers are amplified with the possible exception of the sub woofer in the trunk. Where were you going to mount the equilizer?

All speakers are run off the head, with exception to the sub in the symphony setup. The sub is run off of the amp.
In the Bose system, all 10 speakers are run off of the amp.

I was thinking in dash on the passanger side glove box.

So If I wanted to install EQ in between on Symphony II, what would I need ??

Incorrect. In the non-Bose setup, the rear speakers along with the sub are run off the amp (more)

mounted in the trunk. The front speakers are run off the head unit.

In the Bose system, all speakers are run off the amp in the trunk.
