Default Thoughts on drilling a snub mount?

I've heard of lots of complaints about the N/S snub vibrating and thought that I may try to drill a few holes in the elastomer. Has anyone done this? reccomendations on hole sizes? Thanks

... or you could just get yourself the APR mount.

Default My car has been vibrating more and more with the APR mount...

I probably just have to adjust it's positioning though.

Default You can't drill urethane. The bit will go in but it only slices the material...

When you pull the drill bit out the hole closes up behind the bit. Thats the same reason urethanes of less than about 140 durometer hardness aren't machineable. But you can grind holes with a Foredom/Dremel or air grinder and a stone or high-speed metal burr.

Agreed... or perhaps it's facing the wrong way.
