Default tire problem

i kept putting off rotating my tires, so basically my front tires are done... i put my back tires which are toyo t1s (235/35/19)(50% worn) on the front. i bought 2 new toyo t1r (245/35/19) because i thought it would look beasty with wider back tires, this turned out to be a mistake..my car isn't driving normal..when i take a turn the car feels like there is a lot of body roll and it's driving worse than a SUV right now..Does any1 have any suggestions to how i can fix this. i'm starting to think i may have to buy new front tires the same size as the rears, but i hate to spend another 400$ on tires when they still have so much tread on them.. i appreciate all the help i can get. thanks guys

Default It shouldn't be a huge bad idea if you don't have Quattro...

If you do though, please take those 245's off ASAP: the rolling diameters would be way too different for the Torsen to handle in the long run (and it doesn't help that the smaller tires up front are already half worn, such that the problem is even more exaggerated)

Default Lowering the back tire pressure doesn't make the rear sit lower perceptibly though

What pressure are you currently running on the tires, front and back?

Default You might check the pressures all around first, chances are the rears are too low....

since the T1S's are worn over 50% and you have new full tread on the back that are a little larger (the 235s are 25.5" dia, 9.5" width and the 245s are 25.8" dia and 9.6" width)you will notice a little difference, but it should not be that noticible. Try getting the car aligned (when was the last time you aligned it) and see if this helps. But it sounds like pressures are not equal...but I would look into 2 new fronts as soon as you can afford it...after all, you want all the benefits of the new T1Rs not just half

That is true, CVTs are a little different from the Qs....I forgot that the pressures are different.

Default Hey Chris, would he be covered by the 500 mi/45-day Toyo guarantee?

Could he just return the tires and get the correct size tires?

http://www.toyo.com/500_mile_offer/</a
