Default Vacume line disconnected

On the driver side of my 2005 3.0 cabriolet, there is a vacuum line that goes into an L fitting it appears to go up and underneath the driver side cylinder head but we cannot find where it goes or...

What is it and where does it go?

Vacuum line goes up to the top of the mainfold that connects to the intake manifold that varies the orifice chambers valve that increase torque. then it continues to the kong valves in the back of the engine which is part of the secondary air system.
