VAG-com question (older serial port type)

Hi,
I have the older style VAG-com cable, serial connector. This worked well with my 1997 and 2001 A4's.

The cable is: TWIN-COM ; Dual K, VAG/ISO interface

Now, I have a 2003 B6 A4. Will my old cable work? The SW that I have is version 303-1 and from the drop down menus, I can see an option to select chassis type: 8E - B6 Audi A4.

PS:
I think I read somewhere something in the newer 2003 B6 A4 that has updated K-line ? And potentially the older serial cable VAG-com may not be compatible?
