I recently had my Milltek exhaust installed a few weeks back. The system runs great, and the sound is just what I wanted. That said, I wasn't too keen on the Milltek tips, nor the way the pipes hung from the car, so I decided to modify and reinstall my old 1304 Vibrant tips and reinstall the exhaust. The following pictures document the work performed by my local welder, Ken Butcher.

This first shot shows just what a lousy exhaust the Milltek is to install - that tip gap looks awful!

Now with the Vibrants back on the car - minus a logo - I was free to position them as I pleased. My thinking was to turn the tips with the cut-off angle taking the same line as the bumper.

All and all I'm pretty happy with how this reinstalled turned out. The exhaust now hangs on the car evenly and the Vibrant tips give the rear a cleaner finish.

I luckily had to only perform a slight adjustment to one of the hangers for everything to line up on mine. In either case, you now have the looks to match the sound.
