What reason did AoA give for denying it?

Did they have a reson to suspect the car? I find it hard to believe they denied it out of the clear blue sky.

Guilt by association. He modified his former car and worked some for APR...

...but at the point where he had 280 miles on his S4, he hadn't done a thing. Who in their right mind does? The car has to be broken in for cryin' out loud. He knows that.
