Wastegate problem?
My OEM turbo died in 98k miles so i bought some aftermarket BS from eBay for 440$. I bought k04.
It worked great for 2 weeks but today I lost power. Before I could hear the diverter valve (stock) and also I could hear the air going to the intake.
Today I don't hear DV and air so is that mean that my wastegate is stack open? Or maybe it is something different? Spring?
I would really appreciate if anybody could guide me
I know it's a bit late, but look into RP Turbo K04s. Cheaper than Borg-Warner but seem to be reliable.
I didnt adjust the wastegate yet so is there a possibilyty that it can help? is there a space to adjust it on the car? i dont remember how is it looks like from the bottom
do u guys think i can switch it with my old wastegate from my k03s? is it gonna fit and work properly? (on my old k03s i had crack close to the oil fluid lines).
i didn't adjust that new k04. Is it possible that i can put more tension on the spring and it starts to work ok?
