Default Weird behaviour while driving, RPM up/down

So for a while now my car keeps doing this weird thing every now and then.
It's never constant, so i just cant figure it out or provoke the behavior to show a dealer or whatever.

Below is a link to a recording i made on my phone.
While i recorded this the gas pedal was pushed all the way in and never released.
Car was in 6th gear for 5-10min.

Does this look familiar to anybody?

Last time i had my maintenance it did not read out any errors.
While i had already experienced the same behavior back then.

Have not hooked it back up yet, to see if there is anything now.

I am guessing nobody has a clue.

Was thinking perhaps a bad gas pedal sensor, though not sure if this could cause that kind of behavior.

The link won't open up on my computer, so don't really know what's happening. But, did have a question about the "errors". Was that with a VAGCOM reader and did they look at the transmission errors as well?

Ok should have put it on youtube from the start.

Last time it was hooked up to VAGCOM there were no errors.
Have not done it again, might have a chance next week.

Weird is the right adjective. Some details on the car would be good; year, mileage (looks like 200K plus, but it's hard to read), engine, transmission (assuming you have a manual since you note you were in 6th). Also, when they downloaded the VAGCOM codes, did they open the transmission module?

That mileage is kind of low for a clutch issue, but it behaves like the clutch is slipping. Any other indication of shift issues? Any tracking of the car?

No there are no other issues.
Even this issue is not constant.
I can drive around for days/weeks without ever noticing the problem.
Then all of a sudden its back again for a bit and disappears again.

Last time i noticed it it was doing it in 3rd gear.

Other than that suggestion, I don't have anything else. Nothing else in a manual transmission would do that. If it were an engine issue, I can't imagine that there wouldn't be a code of some sort which you don't have.

Any idea how old the fuel filter is?
This is strange but all I can think of is a partially blocked fuel filter that is not allowing enough flow for constant 4k revs.
