APR's New Reinforced Throttle Body Hose. Stiffer & Less expanding on high pressure .Also less bends for more direct flow.

I realized that now that I have a medley of small performance enhancements such us larger Inlet hose, carbonio Intake,Forged DV,Cold manifold gasket.....they do add up to a much more peppy engine on my A4. Hopefully this does give a more solid boost flow to the manifold (as APR claims)..We'll see....

Does the stock hose really expand that much during high boost??

http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/ms_tb_hose.html</a

Don't know, but do provide feedback on the part after it's installed.

I too wonder what kind of gains are to be had with such a device

Default well, you can only cram so much air into your intake and if it's building up pressure in your hose

then your intake is saying "no more". Providing a more rigid tube is only going to put more back pressure on the turbo which could decrease performance.

Of course I'm totally talking out my ****.

Default if the inlet tube expands, technically for a minute second it could cause (more)

a tiny pressure drop...but once the tube expands, the pressure will stabilize again as more air fills the cavity.

now...technically the TINY pressure drop would cause a loss of performance, but it would last but a fraction of a second.

so my take is...it won't do much if anything at all.
