What can I do with VAG-COM? Is it safe?

What feautures can I enable or disable using VAG-COM?!

Do I risk to damage the car?

How am I supposed to connect the mobile pc to the car?!

no no no, use both the index AND the middle finger approximately 2 inches

inside the VAG COM connecter port and the come hither motion, then use the thumb on the pea shaped thingy.
