5K? I added a quart of oil at 3,500 miles...but just wonder when the first service is..on a 2005 B6 A5. Yes, I fully realize I could RTFM.

6 months or 5,000 miles whichever comes first. I just had mine done at the 6 month mark with 2500 miles.

I added about a quart as well before I hit my first 5K miles (2004 1.8T). They told me that it was normal, and just add the oil and watch it, but not be concerned. I have almost 15K on the car now, and have not had a problem since...

5K (as stated below), and adding oil is normal...done it in the last two A4's during break-in

After initial break in...I am driving my car reasonably hard. I even took it on the track. My use of the cars is probably different than yours..hence the condition of not needing any oil. It is normal, depending on the driver and the car, to sometimes need a quart of oil before the first official warranty service in ANY car.
