whats the average time it should take an Audi tech to install a new spring/shock combo on my A4 ?

Default well - it really depends on what setup they have available.
The rears can be done in either 1/2 or 1 1/2 hours depending on what type of spring compressor they have.

"Audi service tech" - as in the dealer? that might be a little costly.

Don't forget an alignment also.

im friends with my service advisor so it shouldnt be that bad, just wondering about the time

Default Yeah, 4.5 was what my dealer quoted me based on their 'book'
but I'm sure that it can be done in less time than that.
