Whats different about the E-code lamps compared to the lamps here?

Clearer View
E-codes have different standards. The light shines more towards the road and to the sides as the US lamps shine further ahead. I had E-codes on my GTI and they made a huge difference. Light is a bit clearer. For you A4 guys with HID's, I wouldn't worry about it.
