Have you considered compressed air to try and get the dust out? May just blow it around, but maybe it'll blow it somewhere less noticeable (if the dust is now).

Default careful with the compressed air...

be careful doing this, I got some compressed air that supposedly doesn't leave residue, I sprayed outside first to check that no liquid was coming out, but when i blew it inside the housing, liquid came out and left a very very faint residue on the lens.

I didn't bother to wipe it off cause I didn't want to fight with the housing again.
