just use microfiber towels - it'll pick the pollen right up

Default the streaks you saw were the excess parafin wax residue. If you read the instructions it tells you

that the first few times you use the duster, it will leave this behind, which you can just wipe off with a towel. After that it does not leave any streaks and works very well.

Also when you first buy it you are supposed to let it air out for 48 hours before using it. Its all in the instructions.

Default see my post below re the "weird streak marks" - I use it and I have a red car. No problems and its

perfect for a quick wipe. The only thing you MUST not do is use it when the car has visible dirt on the paint. The duster will drag the little pieces of dirt and may scratch your paint. But if you just use it when there is light dust on the car, it will not harm it and the shine is very good.

*edit* Also, be sure to follow the insstructions! People that do not have success using it are people who didn't follow the proper procedure:

-when you first buy it, take it out of the package and put it on some newspaper outside, and let it "air out" for 48 hours. You will see after 48 hrs that the newspaper is "wet". THats because it has absorbed the excess wax from the bristles.

-the first few times you use it you will probably have some streaks of wax. Thats normal. Just wipe it off. After about 3-4 uses, the streaks will be gone.

Default Visible dust is good, but if its in need of a wash, its not?

I think i can handle that. I'm trying to wash it every saturday (a 2yr old and a new born makes that interesting).

I think I can get a few days of cali-duster before it gets too dirty.
