Will the CD changer from a B5 work in a B6?
#2
You could get it to work but it's not plug and play.
I believe B5's (1998.5-2001) are Panasonic and B6's are Alpine.
You may be able to get an adaptor from somewhere to get this to work (just a guess).
But NO, they are not directly compatible.

Thanks. I'll see if Crutchfield has an adapter...
I'm currently using it in my GTI with an adapter. I guess I've grown attached to it...it's been in 3 cars already. 8^)

Well, the B6 comes standard with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer (US models). So there's not much need
for the remote CD changer. If 6 isn't enough you can get an additonal 6-disc glove box CD changer.
