Will a failed diverter valve cause lose of power, because...
I'm experiencing some loss of power. I have the APR chip and it feels as if it's stock in chipped mode and as if the turbo isn't working in sotck mode, but I can hear it spool (Had aproblem with my 2001 GTI where the turbo stopped spooling all together)

That sounds like something I've experienced...but my car go hot as hell under the hood....
it might have had something to do with the fact that it was 85 degrees...and i'm used to 55 degree performance...
