windshield dew
Have a 2002 A4, is anyone having problems with windshield external dew in evening & morning. Windshield fogs on exterior in center, only way to get rid of is wipers, defrost makes it worse, dealer says is normal with some cars?? Had this problem with an older Jag but no other cars, Normal????

It sounds like the windshield vent on your dash is blowing air at that spot (more)
it happened to me exactly one time two days ago when I had the AC on. You can just switch the climate control to blow out the other vents instead of that one.
What is happening is the cool air coming out of the defrost/windshield vent and hitting that spot causes moisture in the air outside to condense on the outside.

I have the same problem EVERY DAY!!!
Dealer says its normal too! I didn't have this problem on my 99 Passat GLX! Its a real anoyance, instead of being able to push auto and go, you have to regulate the AC anyway just so the damn windsheild doesn't fog??!!!?WTF.
