REVO is way cooler...I meant to make it out there but my g/f is going away to college in a few days so I had to spend some QT with her.

REVO seems to be pretty good too, but iirc they don't lock out the software, so it can be flashed over by the dealer, which i'm not keen on...plus, even though the revo guys are apparently the old (and good) APR guys, GIAC has been around longer, and the shop i'm gonna take my car to carry's GIAC, not REVO.

I'd assume that if GIAC is locked out by the dealer flashing over it, then it would be a red flag that you have different software. I think with REVO, they'd just assume you got a boost controller and turned up the boost. But I choose REVO essentially because the closest shop to me carries it, also because they are able to manipulate the code to allow for any other mods, like CAI, or FMIC, Injectors, different turbo...

you're a pro-imports guy ;-)...i got my boost guage from induktion...was planning on having them flash/chip my car too...i've heard nothing but good things from most DC folks, and i've met/talked with ed a few times...plus they're closer to me.

I'm a Pro-Imports guy...but I was thinking about switching shops because it takes a long time to get service there because they're so busy. But in light of what happened to my car, and the great service I have recieved, helpfulness and niceness of Pat, I'm definitely sticking with him.
