08 a4 - problem with steering wheel buttons

Re: Scroller is behaving as it should. This is Audi's logic:
If it working as it should I will get use to it and move on... and if the mode button is only to switch from existing selected radio frequency to phone perhaps I have no problem other that the phone/phonebook not syncing properly....

i have the same problem on my 2011 A5. the mode button and corresponding roller button dont work. Initially, it was working fine then progressively got worse and now not working at all. the anoying part is that the display becomes locked to either the telephone or the radio and you cant go back to the speed and mile to empty display unless you shut the car down. so far these are annoying problems on this brand new audi already causing me NEVER to buy another audi again. Not happy audi of north america!

I am suffering from the exact same problem and mine is 3 months old B8 Audi A4.... I have taken my car into my dealership to fix the problem, yet they could not duplicate the bug nor when they scan the computer, it says there is nothing wrong with it. Did you end up getting it fixed? Your input would be greatly appreciated.
