Default 3.2: 14.98 MPG

I drive about half of my miles on the freeway, half around town. Car has 3,500 miles.

Never thought this car would get worse mileage than any Audi I've ever owned before! I don't even drive it that hard! Must be all the SoCal hills. =)

Oh well... at least it's fun.

Default Have it checked out...I average about 22

I've driven 8000 miles on my 3.2 and have averaged about 22 mpg. I hardly ever drive on the highway, I would say easily 85% of my driving is suburbs/city/back roads. I live in the foothills east of Seattle so it's not really very flat here.

Default Just checked -- exact numbers

I just went out and checked -- for 7137 miles I've averaged 21.8 mpg. Average speed, 25 mph. I never reset the #2 trip computer since the car had 14 miles on it when I bought it.

Default Don't blindly trust the trip computer, mine shows about 30% high

... my gut was telling me it was high so I kept track via hand for 5-6 fillups... Stated MPG by the car was 30% higher than actual!

I went with actual miles and gallons. My car doesn't even have a trip computer!

Default it's true though..

I heard it was something about how the tiny bit of blue pearl effect interacts with the FSI technology. The result? Better gas mileage.

Default next few times I fill up I will try to remember to keep track.

I only fill up every few weeks though (7200 miles in almost 10 months) so it might be a while before I have any results
