i have a buyer's order form for the B7 with 3.5% over invoice on it as the agreed price. a dealer farther away (kind of far to just drive over and be turned down) wants me to fax this same sheet to him in order to see "if i can do better". is it safe to fax this form over to him without expecting fallout from the first dealer in some way?

My only concern is that there is no pricing available yet.
So how can they give you a specific pricing on that car?
it all depends on what was said between the dealer and yourself.
if you told him you agreed to buy that car in the first place, do not agaisnt your word.
I am already surprised that this dealer will sell you this car for 3.5% over invoice considering that there is less than $2k to move from MSRP and it will not get any better.
Honestly do not expect a better deal anywhere else.

thanks. i will stick to first dealer.
my family has purchased 3 cars from said dealer in the last 4 years. this would be our 4th and my RS4 would be our 5th. this might be why they are negotiating thus.
