Default Anyone have trouble getting Seat mem to attach to key?

Seems I may have a bug, followed instructions and seat memory works fine but it won't attach to the key. It makes a beep and blinks the left blinker but then upon lock and open, seat is not adjusted. Dealer couldn't get it to work either. Any hints? They want to schedule a tech to look when I pick up my plates.

I neeeeeed to get a pic up here. Absolutely stunning cars.

Default Yes, known problem.

The key you are programming must be in the ignition, and the ignition has to be on. That's the "small" step the manual forgot to mention.

Default Forgot to include repro steps...bad support analyst!!

These are what the dealer did, they aren't quite what the manual said but it was incorrect on a step about seat memory as well.

1. Adjust seat to desired location
2. Press and hold Memory key then any number until you hear "click" from fuse box
3. Release
4. Press and hold unlock key on remote that you want to attach
5. Observe a beep (or other noise) and left blinker flash a few times.
6. Move seat location
7. Lock and Unlock car with desired key

Expectecd result: Seat will return to memo position

Observed result: seat does not adjust.

Right on, I'll give that a shot once I get home.

Thanks!

Default It's for a B6 but...

I had to use both keys and program them. When programming only one key I couldn't see any result. But storing the seat/mirror for the first key on memory position 1, locking the car, opening the car with the second key, adjusting seat/mirror and storing on memory 2 for second key, lock car with second key and then opening with first key it worked and the seat/mirros moved to the stored position 1.
