Yes, the factory brakes have wear sensors in them
You'll have to short the wear sensor circuits or you'll have a warning light on your dash. Just stick a wire in the end of the plug when you change the pads.
You'll be fine without the wear sensors. Just keep an eye on pad thickness.

I've got same pads, shop just shorted the wires.
I put the HPS pads on because I'm doing track days. I just check the pads when I swap the track tires. Or use a technique I saw in tech - checking the pads using a small narrow penlight so you can get it close, you can see how much is left pretty easy that way.
Question - on my 2008, the HPS pads didn't fit the rattle clips, so rattle clips out and now the pads rattle. But not enough so it matters to me. Do your's have the rattle clips in?
