Which one is quieter and more comfortable, what about treadwear ?

I had the Avon Tech M550 on my previous car, an infiniti G35 Sedan. This tire is horrible on snow- even light snow. I could not pull my car out of the parking lot. On dry and wet pavement and rain, it performed well. I don't know much about the Kumho tire.

while they were decent for the money, I did not feel that they lived up to all the hype they are given on TireRack reviews. I got rid of car before I put too many mile on them, so I can not comment on wear.
One thing...if you live in a cold climate, they flat-spot like crazy in the winter.
