B7 3.2 Avant - rear wiper
Just noticed guys. I've had my B7 for about 2 months now (1k miles) and just notice that the rear wiper is not straight in the back. It does not rest parallel to the edge of the rear window. It's about 2-3 inches up. I used the wiper yesterday and that's where it rests, about 2-3 inches up from the edge. Is this normal? I looked at pictures on the brochures yesterday and the rear wipers on the avants were all parallel to the edge of the rear window. Is this something I should take to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

This should be a fairly simple fix. Although I'm not familiar with the rear wiper on the Avant specifically, there should just be a cap on the base of the wiper arm that needs to be pryed off, and then it's just simply a matter of removing the nut from the bolt that holds the arm in position. After you've removed the nut, align the arm with the rear window base, and then re-fasten the nut and replace the cap. Hope this helps.
