Default Bluetooth Spkr Volume too low?

had my '07 sline A4 since October and have loved every minute of it. Other than curbing one of my titanium pkg wheels, it has been a great few months.

I have noticed the volume on my Bluetooth has significantly decreased since I got the car. At first, I was always having to turn the volume down when I got a call. Now, if I have the volume maxed out on my phone and via the stereo, I can barely hear the other person. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a DIY fix or should I just suffer for a couple more months until my initial 5k service?

I did search archives to no avail...

your phone's call volume has no connection to the car's as far as I know.

during a call, use your steering wheel's right side scroll wheel to control volume...up to increase, down to decrease.

as a test, push the voice command button on the steering wheel. how loud is the girl talking? from what I can tell there are two volumes to control...the voice command/bluetooth alert sound and the call volume.

Default a thing that I just noticed is the position of the cell phone. If you are sitting on it could hurt

the sound. But if its in your jacket pocket it works.

Default It may not even be you

I have a cingular phone and most of my friends and my parents have verizon. When my parents changed their service to cingular the volume became lower. I just crank the volume whenever they call or whenever I call them. It may just be the other person on the other end of the line that affects the volume. Only other thing I can really think of is that you may just be used to the "loud" volume and now you need to crank it. If you can't make it any louder just talk on a lower volume, get used to that than see if increasing it later helps.

Mine has always been too low. I fact, I never use it because of it.

I have had the same phone/service(cing) since I got the car, so I don't think that's the problem. It worked 100% fine when I got the car and now the volume fluctuates betweeen unusable and soft, but audible. I linked my phone w/ my friend's BMW 335 to make sure the problem wasn't my phone and was able to turn the volume up to uncomfortable levels in his car.

Default Barely AUDIble *ding*--not so sure

Every time I dial or receive a call, I am scrolling the volume up as loud as it will go on the steering wheel/stereo. Haven't tried messing with the voice command volume but I will give it a shot...
The weirdest thing is that is has changed since I got the car. And, I'll be driving down the highway at a constant speed and I can hear the volume level changing...sometimes higher, sometimes lower. Yesterday i Synched with my buddy's 335 Bimmer and it worked perfectly, so it's not the phone

have you tried adjusting the volume *on the phone*. i just discovered (it's all new to me, just got my 07 today) as I was setting up my treo 680 with the car that the phone's volume setting is independent of the car volume setting.
